I made these invitations to a baby shower. One of my cousins is going to have a baby. I was asked to help with the baby shower but I don’t know if I’m going to be able to. So I just decided to make a few invitations. Nothing special but I figured it would be thoughtful anyways. With a move coming soon I pretty much know that I won’t be able to help with the shower. I made the invitations ‘post-card’ style.

I can now say that I have beaten every single Guild Wars title. Go me! Such a weird obsession. It has been a long time coming. I even got my first birthday present, given to all characters after a year.

My wrists hurt. . . really bad.

First off, I had a great birthday even though I had to get new glasses. They are actually really cute on me which was a huge surprise. I got some pretty nice gifts too including getting the windows tinted on my car.

I’m accepting hostees again. Everyone is welcome.

I have been participating in design challenges again. Just the random ones that I find on the Internet and of course, blend challenges. I wanted to share this one because I’m so proud (it has been a REALLY long time since I’ve done any of these). This challenge was a re-touch as you will see.

I am officially another year older and it feels good. I got my drivers license renewed (after pulling some teeth), the vacuum cleaner is fixed and I had three birthday cakes. The question everyone wants to know, “Do you feel any different?” My answer: not at all. Maybe next year.

I will be the big 2-0 on Tuesday. This means that I am no longer a teenager. Kind of scary stuff. No big plans. I took Friday, Monday & Tuesday off at work just to celebrate. Well, not really, I actually have a lot of junk that I have to get done in the few days that I have.

The first two days so far have been wretched:

My dog chewed the vacuum cord off. So we took it to the vacuum repair shop. On Friday we went there to pick it up and the guy says he couldn’t fix it because the motor would break if he tried and blamed it on me for not cleaning the filter.

Before that, I went to the DMV to renew my license because for some reason the Nevada DMV makes anyone under 25 renew in person every four years. Of course they set the expiration date for the day of your birthday, because everyone loves spending their birthday at the DMV right? Well, we waited for about fourty-five minutes and I couldn’t pass the stupid vision test. I don’t wear glasses and never had to get them but I couldn’t make out the line for anything. The lady said I had to go get glasses and come back. :: angry ::

Today, I thought I’d try again. I mean, maybe I was just having a bad day. I thought, this time I’ll tell them that I do wear glasses but I left them at home. Well, this time I waited about an hour and fifteen minutes and I still failed the test!! Again, they said to get my glasses and come back, but this lady was nice enough to give me an express pass.

Honestly, I’m kind of in denial about needing glasses and I can’t really afford them because I don’t have vision insurance. I did schedule an appointment for Monday though. hopefully I can get the glasses the same day so I can go and get my license renewed before I get late charges.

I have faith that the rest of the week will get better. Feel free to buy me something.
