Thanksgiving

A few days ago I posted an entry with a picture. I even got a few comments on it but now it’s missing. I didn’t delete it or anything but it’s just gone. That is so weird. . .

So Happy Thanksgiving to everyone. I hope that everyone has a wonderful Thanksgiving. I’m looking foward to the food and the infamous ‘Black Friday’. I will be out and about shopping tomorrow for a few Christmas presents. Best Buy is having some amazing sales, as usual, so I figure I might as well go do my Christmas shopping now. Cross you fingers and hope I don’t spend too much money :)

boring

My life for the last week has pretty much consisted of playing Guild Wars non-stop. I’m completely addicted. I’m trying to get all the titles possibe. What are titles you ask? Well just a status thing that says how much of the game you’ve completed and various other achievements you’ve gained. I love Guild Wars because it’s always changing and I’m constantly learning all these new things that are in the game.

My Mom and I went to a ‘medical spa’ on Saturday and I got put on a weight loss program. They said I am very healthy and very muscular so I can eat a lot of calories during the day. They put me on a machine that said my daily calorie intake should be around 1800 or so. I was stunend because I have only been eating about 1000 calories. I was always hungry. I never thought that the reason I wasn’t losing any weight was because I wasn’t eating enough, but apparently it is! Unfortunately, the thought of eating 1800 calories a day really scares me because I’m not used to eating that much but we’ll see how it goes. So far so good!

the struggle

So I lost about thirty pounds when I was dieting before. In the last two months I’ve kind of fallen off the ban wagon and put back on five of those pounds. It could be a lot worse. The reality of it is, I eat at restaurants and fast food joints way too much and when I get munchies I usually go for a small candy bar. Other then those two things above the other things that I eat are healthy and very low calorie. So in order to not gain any weight back and hopefully lose a little more I’m going to limit myself to eating out once per week at a restaurant and once per week at a fast food place. But when I go out I still have to choose the right type of foods to eat. And instead of eating a small candy bar I’ve bought roasted almonds to enjoy when I get the munchies. They are healthy and delicious.

I’ve also found a very neat website. WeightLossWars.com is a weight challenge website. You can team up with friends and create challenges for yourselves or you can joint a public challenge with other people on the website. The reason I like the website is because of the weigh-in, you can add and delete options such as calorie intake, stress level, minutes exercised, etc. Then, everytime you weight in all that info gets sent to your motoviator, if you have one. It’s pretty cool!

So I’m jumping back on the dieting ban wagon. LOL wish me luck!
